THEGUUDS w/ Heath240, Honeybee & Memoir.
Heath240 - “Ayudame”
Boston native Heath240 returns with his latest single “Ayudame.” The vocal experimentation captured our ears at the initial listen. On his latest single, Heath240 reflects on internal worries due to peers not answering his phone calls. In the beginning, there’s a repetitive background vocal that says “are you the man?” It sparks that question of who the go-to person goes to when they’re in need. Heath240 is trying to find balance for himself and those around him. The bass guitar throughout the song provides depth to Heath240’s honest writing. Last year, Heath240 released a few singles, adding to his evolving catalog. Currently, he’s working on a visual project titled I Love Watching Dead Flowers. We’re excited to hear what else he has in store!
Honeybee - “BAGS”
Philly native Honeybee, formerly known as JAHMENA makes her return with a new sound and image on her new single “BAGS.” Honeybee exudes confidence and serenity on her latest sonic offering. Through refreshing cadences and admirable voice inflictions, Honeybee demonstrates her flair for getting to the bag and dismissing any negative energy. “BAGS” encourages listeners to smile during those moments of pursuing financial freedom. We’re excited to hear what else she has planned for the future!
Memoir - “Poised II.”
New York native Memoir returns with his latest sonic offering “Poised II.” Memoir flows effortlessly on the NY drill beat. His pockets are versatile and do not feel stale against the flourishing NY sound. The production carries a subtle sample but is saturated in heavy 808s and hollow snares. Memoir. is confident and holds no punches towards manifesting his ideal lifestyle. This single serves as a follow-up to “Poised,” which will soon be a collection of songs that captures Memoir.’s mental toughness for overcoming unforeseen obstacles throughout his life. In 2019, his debut project Breathe EP dropped and displayed his widespread sounds and lyric ability. After his debut, Memoir. has released various two-packs to strengthen his soon to be extensive catalog. We’re excited to hear what else Memoir. has in store.
